Zdravo! I am Jovana, the founder of About Serbian. I love traveling, foreign languages, books, nature and bicycles. My guilty pleasures are YA movies and shows. I have a driver’s license, I drive, but whenever I have the opportunity, I prefer to be a passenger princess. 😀
Why About Serbian?
About Serbian represents a place where you can learn Serbian and enjoy learning. This is not just an empty promise (prazne priče in Serbian), but the main idea behind our brand! Before deciding, you can always check our Youtube channel where you can find free lessons, vlogs or content about language!
… And history?
The idea was born during Covid – 19, when everything became online and from that moment, we have been learning how to teach and how to do our job in the best way possible.
Can you learn a language fully online?
Yes! We firmly believe it is possible and all our satisfied students are the proof for that. So, why is learning online better than in person? I mean, if you have a Serbian school near you, please feel free to join, because you will be surrounded with the language & Serbian heritage. But, in our online school we are trying our best so we could make the surroundings almost natural. Also, our founder is a free spirited person and she is always changing locations. Her idea was to make the best environment for people who are learning languages like she does.
Online learning has a lot of perks! It takes less time and provides high-quality instruction tailored to individual needs. You can even have lessons in your pajamas if you want! Or at the airport, from the car if you travel a lot. What is better than that?
